Janet Trecarten is a Program Director and Music Director who has worked in media, mainly Country Radio, for over three decades.

A graduate of Algonquin College’s Radio and Television Arts Program, her career has taken her from Ottawa to Toronto, Owen Sound, Hamilton, and currently Winnipeg at QX104.  She was also involved with the launch of CMT Canada, which at the time was known as ‘The New Country Network’ or ‘NCN’.

When she’s not trying to break 100 in golf, Janet binges on Netflix with her husband Steve and enjoys walks with their dog Murphy (who, yes is a girl, but was adopted on St Patty’s Day, so thus the name).
